OBIT WALLER, ETHEL EDITH

WALLER, Ethel Edith, 67, of Roanoke, passed away Sunday, January 23, 1994. She was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Waller. Survivors include three sons, William L. ("Cassandra Alexander") Waller, Chester E. ("Theresa") Waller, Jerry W. ("Diane") Waller; six daughters, Mary E. ("Abraham Jr.") Traynham, Gertrude ("Richard") Martin, Dianne Forrest, Juliet V. Waller, Dale T. ("Charles") Burnett, Annette D. Waller, all of Roanoke; six brothers, Dan Witcher, June Witcher, both of Danville, Robert Witcher, Curtis Witcher, Rayfield Witcher, all of Roanoke, Arthur Cooper, Washington, D.C.; two sisters, Gloria J. Haley, Ollie Haley, both of Danville; a devoted friend, Monroe Marsh, Roanoke; 20 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Maple Street Baptist Church. The Rev. Marvin Fields will officiate, with interment in Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
