CHILTON, Thad I., 64, of Roanoke, died Wedesday, February 17, 1884. Mr.
Chilton retired from the Virginia National Guard. He is survived by his wife,
Lillian U. Chilton, of Blairs; seven children; five great-grandchildren. A
private military service was held. Arrangements by Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
