OBIT HUDDLESTON, CHARLES ELMER

HUDDLESTON, Charles Elmer, 71, of Vinton, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 1994, in a local hospital. He was retired from Burlington Mills in Vinton and was a World War II veteran, having served with the U.S. Army. Surviving are his wife, Alice R. Huddleston; one son, Charles Michael Huddleston, Vinton; three daughters and sons-in-law, Joy and Don Gray, Stewartsville, Kay and Jerry Tingler, Ava, Mo., Chalice and David Meador, Hardy; one brother and sister-in-law, Marshall and Audrey Huddleston, Lakeland, Fla.; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two nieces. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, February 26, 1994, in the Lotz Vinton Chapel. Rev. Tim Wright will officiate. Burial to follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton. Friends may call at Lotz Vinton Chapel.
