OBIT PRICE, THELMA BOWER DUNCAN
PRICE, Thelma Bower Duncan, 81, of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, February
23, 1994, in Lewis Gale Hospital. She was a member of the First Church of the
Brethren. She was preceded in death by her former husbands, James Henry Duncan
and Carl E. Price; also her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Bower Sr.; three
brothers; two sisters. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Donald R.
and Nancy W. Duncan; four grandsons, Jeff Duncan and wife, Sandy, Tony Duncan,
David Duncan and wife, Teresa, all of Roanoke, Tim Duncan and wife, Linda,
Rock Hill, S.C. Also surviving are 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters; two
brothers. Funeral services will be conducted at Lotz Salem Chapel Saturday,
February 26, at noon, with the Rev. Cindy Steeggerda, Rev. Paul Alwine, and
Rev. Fred Rakes officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends
may call at Lotz Salem Chapel.
