WHITLOCK-LAWRENCE
Cynthia Marie Whitlock and Michael Allan Lawrence are engaged and planning
to be married July 1995 in Salem. Cynthia is the daughter of Mr. J. C.
Whitlock, Jr., of Salem and Linda Whitlock of Floyd, and the granddaughter of
Joseph and Jessie Whitlock, Sr., of Salem. She graduated from Glenvar High
School and attends Virginia Western Community College. She is employed by
Woods, Rogers and Hazelgrove, P.L.C. Michael is the son of Bill and Pam Scott
of Salem and Darrell W. Lawrence of Salem, and the grandson of Janie Angell of
Salem and the late Robert H. Angell, also, Irma Lawrence of Salem, June Scott
of Windsor. He is the great-grandson of Beulah Cowley. He graduated from
Glenvar High School and is employed by Wells Fargo, Roanoke.
