OBIT FIZER, ABBIE KIDD

FIZER, Abbie Kidd, 82, of Vinton, died Friday, February 25, 1994 in a local nursing home. She was the widow of Duval Fizer, a member of Oakland Baptist Church, and retired from Miller & Rhoads. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, D. Wayne and Anne D. Fizer, Goodview; two grandchildren, Robyn F. Zerbinati, Woodbridge, Va., and Kevin S. Fizer, Danville. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Oakland Baptist Church, 3623 Roundhill Ave. N.W., Roanoke, Va. 24012. Services will be conducted 11:30 a.m. Monday at Oakey's North Chapel by the Rev. Kelly Dampeer. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Bedford. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Oakey's North Chapel.
