OBIT SHIVELY, ANNIE BROGAN
SHIVELY, Annie Brogan, 93, of Route 3, Ferrum, died Friday, February 25,
1994, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Shively was the widow of William Dennis
Shively and was preceded in death by her son, William Melvin Shively.
Surviving are one granddaughter and her husband, Denise and Mike Bowles,
Bedford; two great-grandsons, Chris Bowles and Joey Bowles; one sister-in-law,
Lonnie M. Brogan, Rocky Mount; a special niece, Ruby M. Brogan, Rocky Mount,
several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Monday,
11 a.m. in Flora Funeral Chapel with Elder W. T. Conner officiating. Interment
will follow in the family cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday with
the family receiving friends from 7 to 9 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 342 S.
Main St., Rocky Mount.
