Because of a reporter's error, conflicting information about the day a Roanoke teenager was caught in possession of crack cocaine was in a story in Tuesday's paper. The incident occurred on Saturday.

Because of a reporter's error, Esther James' age was wrong in a story in Sunday's Virginia section about the Christiansburg Institute reunion. She is 74.

Public hearings scheduled by the Virginia State Corporation Commission on proposals by Bell Atlantic-Virginia to extend local calling service will be held at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on July 26 at the Pulaski County Administration Building, July 27 at the Montgomery County Courthouse and July 28 at the Giles County Circuit Courtroom. A June 28 story gave incorrect times.
