RSVP YARD SALE SCHEDULED FRIDAY IN CHRISTIANSBURG

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program in Christiansburg hopes for a good turnout at the RSVP YARD SALE Friday at the former Angle's lot on Main Street in Christiansburg. The sale gets under way at 9 a.m. RSVP hopes to have an ample supply of housewares, good clothing, toys, furniture and books, but there's always room for more of those gems from your attic, basement or Fibber McGee's closet and still a couple of days to donate them. Drop items by the RSVP office in the Courthouse Annex or call the office at 382-5775, to arrange for pickup. RSVP also could use some help the day of the sale, too. Call if you can volunteer some time. Sale proceeds go for new tires and much-needed repairs to the RSVP van.
