WHY WAIT 'TIL THEY MAKE IT A MOVIE?

We figured that since they made ``Blaze,'' a film about flamboyant Louisiana governor Earl Long, maybe one day the life of a 1994 Virginia senatorial candidate might hit the big screen.

Paul Newman played Long in ``Blaze.''

We asked Coleman, North and Robb: If there were a movie made about your life, which actor would you like to see play you on the silver screen? Who would have guessed that both Coleman and North would pick Mel Gibson? Robb modestly left the choice to his staff, but they left the space blank.

So, we listened to the candidates' ideas. Then we decided to jump in with some casting suggestions of our own.
