HEARING DELAYED YET AGAIN

A preliminary hearing for a Buchanan County man whose wife's dismembered body was found buried in Craig County was continued Wednesday for the second time.

The hearing for Dan Richard Grigsby, charged with first-degree murder, originally was set for Friday in Craig County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court and was continued because Grigsby changed attorneys.

Wednesday's hearing was delayed because Grigsby's father died recently, according to court officials. A new hearing date has not been set.

Grigsby, of Pilgrims Knob, is charged in the death of his wife, Dolly Rose Grigsby. He had reported her missing July 19. Almost three months later, her dismembered body was found in a dry creekbed in the Jefferson National Forest.

Grigsby's brother, Ken Grigsby, and a friend, Mickey Breeding, are charged with being accessories to the crime. They have been released on bond. A preliminary hearing for them had been set for Wednesday but also was continued. A new date has not been set.
