EXHIBITS DEDICATION SATURDAY

A dedication program for the exhibits in Pulaski County's historic courthouse will start at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Participants will include Rod Layman, Ad Hoc Citizens' Courthouse Committee chairman; Alan Groseclose, Courthouses Committee chairman; Dallas Cox, War Memorial Committee chairman; Elrica Graham, Exhibits Committee chairwoman; Jerry White, Board of Supervisors chairman.

The Pulaski Middle School Treble Chorus will perform under the direction of Marva Hickman, and Smokey Bear will preside at a tree-planting ceremony.

American Indian craft and cultural presentations will follow in the Appalachian Power Co. auditorium with the presenters, mostly from Floyd County, in traditional garb. Self-guided tours of the exhibits will continue until noon.
