TRAFFIC STOP ENDS IN ARRESTS ON DRUG CHARGES

A run-of-the-mill vehicle check Friday turned into a drug bust for Salem police when they found what was thought to be LSD, cocaine and marijuana on two men and a teen-ager who were parked in a lot on Wildwood Road.

According to arrest warrants, John Tracy Siebel, 24, of High Point, N.C., was charged with possession with the intent to distribute more than a half-ounce, but not more than five pounds, of marijuana, and possession with the intent to distribute cocaine.

Brian C. Walkowiak, 18, of Columbia, S.C., was charged with two counts of possessing LSD and cocaine, according to the warrant affidavit. A 17-year-old boy from North Carolina also faces drug possession charges, according to Salem Commonwealth's Attorney Fred King.
