BASHAM, Kenneth Allen, Jr., 34, of Roanoke, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 1995. He was office manager of Oncology and Hematology Associates of Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Betty Bailey Basham; one son, Kenneth Allen Basham III, both of Roanoke; a stepson, Keelan Bailey, Richmond; parents, Delores and Kenneth Basham Sr.; three sisters, Delbra Basham, Donna Basham and Avis Drew, all of Roanoke; one brother, Victor Basham, Roanoke; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives. BOSSEMEYER, Mary Hale Thompson, 75, of Tucson, Ariz., died Friday, January 13, 1995 in Tucson, Ariz. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Frederick H. Bossemeyer, Tucson, Ariz.; two sons, Frederick Weir Bossemeyer, Tucson, Ariz., Richard Allan Bossemeyer, Indio, Calif.; one daughter, Patricia Lynne Bossemeyer, Tucson, Ariz.; and four grandchildren. BOURNE, Jeanne Tolley, 68, of Sylvania, Georgia, formerly of Natural Bridge Station, Va., passed away Sunday, January 15, 1995, in Sylvania, Ga. She was the daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Barger Tolley and the late Charles L. Tolley of Natural Bridge Station. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert N. Bourne. In addition to her mother, she is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Jerry and Karen Massey of Sylvania, Ga., Bob and Terry Ingram of Thompson, Ga., and Bob and Carol O'Neill of Augusta, Ga.; one son and daughter-in-law, Clark and Chris Bourne of Martinez, Ga.; nine grandchildren; five brothers, Charles P. (Bill) Tolley of Gloucester, Va., Edward Tolley of San Pedro, Calif., Carl Tolley and Brownlee Tolley of Natural Bridge Station, Va., and Stephen Tolley of Athens, Ala.; two sisters, Mrs. Kenneth (Nancy) Hostetter of Buchanan, Va., and Mrs. William (Doris) Trussell of Fairfax, Va. CAMPBELL, Lillie Hicks, 89, of Redwood, died Sunday, January 15, 1995, at Eldercare Nursing Home, Rocky Mount, Va. Born February 13, 1905, she was the daughter of the late Henry H. and Nannie Calvert Hicks. She was the wife of the late William Dalton Campbell. Surviving are three daughters and son-in-law, Margaret Thurman, Redwood, Linda Waybright, Vinton, Dalphia and Franklin Furrow, Redwood; one son and daughter-in-law, W. Shirley and Lois Campbell, Redwood; two sisters, Ruby Hicks, Rocky Mount, Lalar Altice, Redwood; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; a special friend, Virgie Smith, Rocky Mount. CHAPMAN, Laura Lenora DeHart, (``Dolly""), 94, of Roanoke, departed this life on Saturday, January 14, 1995 in a Roanoke hospital. Mrs. Chapman was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Mortimer Chapman, her son, Charles Dalton Chapman, her daughter, Laura Chapman Mullen, and great-grandson, Christopher Canter. Mrs. Chapman is survived by a daughter-in-law, Phyllis H. Chapman; four granddaughters, Mrs. Walter Allen Grigg Jr. (Diane), Roanoke, Mrs. Chris Jordan (Darlene), Raleigh, N.C., Mrs. Dennis W. Canter, (Denise), Raleigh, N. C., and Mrs. Richard A. Farris (Doreen), Vinton; eleven great-grandchildren, Amy Grigg, Knoxville, Te nn., W. Allen Grigg III, Roanoke, Shelly Iannello, Hazlet, N.J., Adam Hunter, Amber Hunter, Sherry C. Archibald, Dennis Canter Jr., Anthony Canter and Ashley Canter, all of Raleigh, N.C., Stephanie Farris and Robert Farris, both of Vinton; two great-great-grandchildren, Dalton Canter, Raleigh, N.C., and Nat Iannello, Hazlet, N.J.; a very special friend, Mrs. Marie Peterson; and several nieces and nephews. COOPER, Rev. Frank Scott, 79, of the Scruggs Community in Franklin County, went to be with his Lord January 15, 1995. He was born January 31, 1915, the son of George W. and Ann Parker Cooper, and was preceded in death by his son, Frank Gary Cooper, five brothers and one sisters. Rev. Cooper was retired from Mason-Dixon Lines and had served 30 years as pastor to churches in the Roanoke, Bedford, Franklin and Botetourt Counties. He was a member of the Hales Ford Baptist Church and Pastor Emeritus of the Mayflower Hills Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Elizabeth Kingery Cooper; daughters and sons-in-law, Vicky and Dewey Smith, Botetourt Co., Betty and Guy Hannabass, Anna and Wayne Ellis, all of Roanoke, Sarah and Danny Altice, Vinton, Cathy Cooper, Gunston, Va.; 12 grandchildren, Gary Hurt, Brian Ellis, David Ellis, Margaret Hannabass Craig, Ann Hannabass, Connie Hannabass, Scott Cooper, Chase Altice, Lanny Altice, Brei Anna Smith, Kateland Smith, Tyler Cooper; three great-grandchildren, Jennifer Hurt, Alisha Hurt, Jason Hurt; and many nieces and nephews. Rev. Cooper was a constant loving and tender husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Our family's immediate loss is Heaven's eternal gain. EPPERLY, Aubrey Junior, 58, of Christiansburg, died Saturday night, January 14, 1995, in a Roanoke hospital. He was an employee at the power house at VPI. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy M. Epperly: one son, Michael Epperly, Christiansburg; a stepdaughter, Sharon Maxey, Shawsville; three brothers, Dewey Epperly, Charlie Epperly, Jerry Epperly, all of Christiansburg; two sisters, Frances Walters, Shirley Epperly, Christiansburg; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two half sisters, Ellen Spinelloa, Virginia Beach, and Beulah Nunley, Christiansburg; a half brother, Albert Hylton, W. Va. The funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday from the Richardson-Horne Chapel, with burial in Sunset Cemetery. FLINT, Dovie B., 94, of Roanoke, died Saturday, January 14, 1995. Mrs. Flint was a member of Belmont Baptist Church, where she was also a member of the TEL Sunday School Class, which is now called the Ruth Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonie Flint, and a great-granddaughter, Brittney C. Johnson. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Norma F. and William C. Johnson, Vinton; grandchildren Kurt M. Johnson and wife, Susan, Rocky Mount, Kevin W. Johnson and wife Cindy, Roanoke, and Kara Anne Johnson, Vinton; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Mallory, Landon, Brennon, and Brianna Johnson, and one soon to be born great-grandchild.; a sister, Ida B. GALLION, Russell Pack, 87, of Nutley, N.J., formerly of Roanoke and Salem, died Saturday, January 14, 1995.

HARRISON, Baxter Alexander, 90, of Natural Bridge Station, went to be with the Lord Friday, January 13, 1995, in the Stonewall Jackson Hospital. He was born September 11, 1904 in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Pete Harrison and Mary Alice Coleman Harrison. Mr. Harrison was a self-employed carpenter and was a member of the Natural Bridge pentecostal Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by a half brother, Henry Hickman, Royal Oak, Mi., and one great-granddaughter, Amanda Clark, Buena Vista. Surviving are his wife , Mabel Lula Mae Hatcher Harrison, Natural Bridge Station; four daughters, Helen Harrison Bullock, Glasgow, Margaret Harrison Pultz, Lexington, Gladys Harrison Duff, Waynesboro, Martha Harrison Sorrells, Buena Vista; two sons, Hughie Wilmer Harrison, Lexington, James Henry Harrison, Excel, Ala.; 31 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 16, 1995, at 2 p.m. in the Natural Bridge Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Rev. Barry Nall, the Rev. David Bain, and the Rev. Conald Fogus officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Glasgow Rescue Squad. HICKS, Jackson M., 81, of Roanoke, died Saturday, January 14, 1995 at his home. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth S. Hicks. He was former owner of Hicks Trailer Sales in Roanoke and was a member of the Virginia Aeronautical Historical Society, the Quiet Birdmen, and the O.X.-5 Aviation Pioneers. Surviving are his wife, Uldine (Deane) DuVall Hicks; son and daughter-in-law, William (Bill) and Phyllis Hicks; grandchildren, Jennifer and John Hicks, all of Roanoke; daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth (Betty) and Carl Godsey and granddaughter, Beth Godsey, all of Midlothian; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 17, 1995, at 3 p.m., Oakey's North Chapel, with the Rev. James E. Rivers of First Christian Church officiating. HILL, Lauren, 48, of Fairfax Co., formerly of Radford, died Saturday, January 14, 1995 in the Northern Virginia Doctors Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Hill and Helen Blevins Hill, and her maternal grandparents, Beulah and Winfield Blevins. She is survived by an aunt, Jewell Trent, Allentown, Penn.; and an uncle, William Blevins, Arlington. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 17, 1995, at 10 a.m. from the Sunrise Burial Park in Radford, with the Rev. Clarence Dishman officiating. There will be no visitation. LINKOUS, Wayne Tracey, 39, of Radford, joined the Lord on Saturday, January 14, 1995. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served as a Red Eye gunner in Germany. He was a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Linkous Phillips, and his father, Lawrence Tracey Linkous. Survivors include his devoted wife, Polly Harbor Linkous, Radford; one son, Zachery T. Linkous, Radford; twin sister, Wanda Pritchard, Dublin; one brother, Billy Linkous, Christiansburg. He will be forever missed by all of his family and many friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 17, 1995, 11 a.m., at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Radford, with the Rev. SONGER, Mary Agnes, 70, of Mountain Lake Road, Newport, died Saturday evening, January 14, 1995, in Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Va. Born in Giles County, Va. on June 13, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Maggie Collins Williams, and was retired from VPI & SU. She was the wife of the late Burtle Thaw Songer. Surviving are eight children, Walter Williams and Leonard Steve Songer, both of Newport, Edward T. Songer, Glen Lyn, Bob Songer, Dublin, Thelma Louise Dowdy and Kathy Gail Carter, both of Blacksburg, Barbara Helen Lee, Pembroke, and Betty Mae Breedin g, Newport; one brother Layman M. Williams, Newport; four sisters, Helen Songer and Rachael Songer, both of Newport, Virginia Weiss of Tennessee, and Shirley Hazelwood of West Virginia; seventeen grandchildren, including a devoted granddaughter, Debbie Hilton, who lived next door and gave much love and attention to her grandmother; and a grandson, Joey Hilton, who lived with her. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 17, 1995, at 2 p.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel in Pembroke, Va. Burial will be in the Songer Family Cemetery at Newport, Va.
