AUCTION TO BENEFIT ZOO

Hibernation Hiatus, a ``vacation auction'' benefit for Mill Mountain Zoo, will be held Feb. 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Radisson Patrick Henry Hotel.

Charlie Perkinson's Trio will provide jazz during the evening, which includes cocktails and heavy hors d'oeuvres and a silent auction.

The highlight of the evening will be the auction of donated vacations, beginning at 8 p.m., hosted by auctioneer Jim Woltz.

The winner of a ``suitcase drawing'' will leave that evening for a secret destination.

Tickets, $25 per person, are available at the Patrick Henry's front desk.

The evening is sponsored by the Radisson Patrick Henry Hotel, Rainbow Travel and Charlie Perkinson's ``All That Jazz'' radio show on WVTF (89.1 FM).
