Musical auditions

The Lynchburg Fine Arts Center will hold auditions for its spring musical, ``Singin' in the Rain,'' on March 20 and 21.

Roles are available for four to eight children, ages 7 to 10, and 34 adults, ages 14 and up. Children are not required to bring a prepared song to the audition. Adults should bring a prepared song with sheet music.

No previous tap dancing experience is necessary. Adults who have tap shoes should bring them; others should wear hard-soled shoes.

Children's auditions will begin each evening at 7 p.m.; adult tryouts will follow at 7:30 p.m.

Open auditions for the Center's Kids' Stuff Theatre production of ``Rumpelstiltskin'' will be held on March 23 at 7 p.m.

Art print sale

The 13th Washington International Print Fair, with art dealers from across the country, will be held April 1 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and April 2, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Rosslyn Westpark Hotel, 1900 North Fort Myer Drive, Arlington.

More than 15,000 prints, drawings, watercolors and maps will be on sale during the two-day public show.

Prices will range from $30 to $30,000 for works on paper, featuring a variety of artists and time periods. Workshops will also be held.

Holocaust survivor

Zev Kedem, one of the 1,100 Jews saved by industrialist Oscar Schindler during the Holocaust, will speak on his experiences March 15 at 8 p.m. in Lynchburg College's Memorial Ballroom in the Hall Campus Center.

Kedem, a documentary filmmaker, consulted on and appeared in ``Schindler's List,'' Steven Spielberg's award-winning film on the Holocaust.
