KOHINKE PLANS TOWN MEETINGS

Roanoke County Supervisor Ed Kohinke will hold a series of town meetings throughout the Catawba Magisterial District on Saturday mornings to discuss the upcoming county budget, gather input on the next bond referendum and address other matters of concerns to residents.

This is the first time Kohinke has tried the town meeting approach, but he said he hopes the sessions will allow him to communicate more directly with his constituents and give them the opportunity to voice opinions on issues.

All the meetings are scheduled from 9 to 11 a.m. and will be held in the following places: Saturday, Northside High School auditorium; March 25, Mason Cove Fire Station; April 1, Catawba Community Center; and April 8, Fort Lewis Fire Station.
