House sold to VIP Planners

John Dickinson and Edwin C. Hall of Hall Associates Inc. in Roanoke represented the seller in the transfer of property at the corner of Franklin Road and Woods Avenue for a financial planning office.

The old house at 1502 Franklin Road S.W. was sold by Andrew W. Hull and Dr. Duvahl Ridgway Hull to VIP Planners of Roanoke. The buyer will renovate the property to its appearance at the time it was built in the 1920s.

Hall said the sale was important because the property is located on a major thoroughfare "in a neighborhood all of us have been trying to preserve."

VIP Planners purchased the property for $76,000 and will spend another $150,000 in the renovation.
