'FREEZE FRAME' ON TRAVEL CHANNEL

The Travel Channel and Popular Photography magazine have teamed up to showcase their respective areas of expertise, travel and photography, in an upcoming half-hour special, "Freeze Frame," which will debut on The Travel Channel on Sunday at 8 p.m. The special will air through the month of June.

"Freeze Frame," is a pilot which may become a full series for the network with journalist Ted Reinstein serving as host, joined by a guest photographer for each episode. Internationally acclaimed photographer Robert Glenn Ketchum joins Reinstein for the pilot episode. While picking up photography tips, viewers will travel to Hawaii with the team and join as they go whale watching, snorkeling, visit a reknowned windsurfing beach and an active volcano.

"Working with Popular Photography is a natural fit for us and hopefully this will be the first of many joint projects between the two of us," said Dalton Delan, senior vice president of programming and production for The Travel Channel.

The Travel Channel is a subsidiary of Landmark Communications which also owns the Roanoke Times & World-News.
