The project, which followed a lengthy period of study and planning, also included a new roof for the 300-seat auditorium and classroom area, and air conditioning. The cost was about $550,000 and was supervised by Goodman Church Builders of Joplin, Mo.
The church, established in 1946, has seen so much growth that it added an second Sunday morning worship service, beginning at 8:30. The new facilities may pave the way for more growth, church leaders believe.

Lewis, Metropolitan of the Anglican Catholic Church and Archbishiop of the Diocese of the South, will visit St. Peter's Anglican Catholic Church Sunday, when the church celebrates the Feast of Whitsunday, the coming of the Holy Ghost to the apostles on the first day of Pentecost.
