FURRER, ADMIRALS FALL IN WORLD BOWL

Paul Justin threw two of his three touchdown passes to Bobby Olive, leading the Frankfurt Galaxy to a 26-22 victory over the Amsterdam Admirals and former Virginia Tech quarterback Will Furrer in the third WLAF World Bowl.

Justin pulled Frankfurt to 7-6 with an 11-yard scoring pass to Olive with 50 seconds left in the first half. They hooked up again on a 4-yard touchdown pass midway through the third period, and Frankfurt (7-4) never trailed host Amsterdam (9-2) again.

Furrer completed 32 of 64 passes for 324 yards, with two touchdowns, one two-point conversion and an interception.
