Q: Several of my technical folks are interested in a managerial position that's open. None are promotable. They lack people sklls. I'd like to help them, but don't know where to start.

\ Q: How do I keep employees from constantly asking for raises? In momments of weakness, I've given unwarranted salary increases .\

Q. One of my managers has great difficulty when there's a performance problem. Rather than stating the problem and demanding solutions, the manager gets into all the reasons why an employee is performing poorly. As a result, performance doesn't change. The personal focus is driving me crazy.
