KELLOGG RECALLS POP-TART SHIPMENT

Kellogg Co. is recalling some boxes of its Low Fat Frosted Strawberry Pop- Tarts that were mistakenly filled with low fat chocolate ones.

The company was concerned about people who avoid the chocolate toaster pastries because they are allergic to the milk and eggs in chocolate. The strawberry ones are not made with milk and eggs.

The company would not say how many boxes are being recalled.

The 11-ounce, six-count packages were shipped to a limited number of locations in 17 states, including Virginia and West Virginia.

Consumers buying packages with Ctn. No. K55708 and production code 06055Ga1 printed on the top of the box should call the company at 800 527-1557.
