HOMESTEAD SLOPES READY FOR SKIING

This weekend only - today through Sunday - overnight guests of The Homestead will be able to ski for free on the resort's snow-covered mountain during its Holiday Ski Kick-Off Celebration.

Winter sports enthusiasts can take to the resort's nine slopes, olympic-size ice-skating rink and snowboard park with complimentary lift tickets included with any package offered.

Overnight packages begin at $107 per adult, per night based on double occupancy and include accommodations, breakfast and dinner daily.

During opening weekend, daily lift tickets will be reduced from $32 to $25 per person.

A report says the powder on the slopes is fantastic.
