Floyd County withstood a third-quarter comeback to defeat North Cross 75-64 Thursday night in a high school basketball game at the Raiders' gym.
Travis Cantrell hit a 3-pointer to put Floyd County ahead to stay in the fourth quarter, and Adam Harris followed with a 3 on the next possession to open a six-point lead. Cantrell finished with 23 points.
Brian Whitaker led North Cross (0-3) with 19 points.
