Allen-Rhudy

Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Allen of Roanoke are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Michele Renee, to Jonathan Kenneth Rhudy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Rhudy of Richmond, Virginia.

Miss Allen is a graduate of Northside High School and the University of Virginia. She is employed as an Associate at Earle Palmer Brown Public Relations in Richmo nd. Mr. Rhudy is a graduate of J.R. Tucker High School and James Madison University. He works as a Public Relations Specialist for Oscar Mayer Foods of Madison, Wisconsin.

An August 1996 wedding is planned.

Ayers-Gibson

Pamela Gaye Ayers and Jason Douglas Gibson are engaged and planning to be married April 27, 1996, in Roanoke. Pamela is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald W. Ayers of Roanoke. She graduated from Northside High School and is employed by CMT Sporting Goods. Jason is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Douglas Gibson of Vinton. He graduated from William Byrd High School and is employed by Estes Express Lines.

Bradford-Hudson

Breck H. Hudson and Stephanie A. Bradford are pleased to announce their engagement. A private ceremony will be held on June 8, 1996 at Mt. Ivy Baptist Church at Smith Mountain Lake.

Burkett-West

Elizabeth Burkett and A. Russell West are engaged and planning to be married in the Summer of 1997. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward W. Burkett of Roanoke. She was graduated from Northside High School in 1992, and is attending Marymount University in Arlington, Va., pursuing a degree in Psychology. He is the son of Mr. William O. West of Chevy Chase, Md., and Mrs. Paulette West of McLean, Va. He was graduated from Oakton High School, Oakton, Va., in 1992 and is employed by Pollinger, Shannon & Luchs Property Management Co. of Chevy Chase, Md.

Dangerfield-Stanley

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Taylor of Christiansburg and Mr. Richard Dangerfield of Liberty, S. C., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie Lynn Dangerfield, to Mr. Jeffrey Scott Stanley of Radford. Jeff is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Stanley of Pilot and Mrs. Andrea Mason of Lynchburg.

Julie is a g raduate of Christiansburg High School and Radford University. She is employed by Montgomery County Schools as a teacher at Kipps Elementary. Jeff is a graduate of Christiansburg High School and attended Virginia Tech. He is employed by VDOT. An April wedding is planned.

Draper-Moore

Lewis Crozier Draper and Robert Tracy Moore are engaged and planning to be married in May, 1996 in Roanoke. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard W. Kienle of Norfolk, and Mr. William B. Draper, Jr. of Roanoke. She graduate from Patrick Henry High School and Mary Baldwin College. She is employed by Roanoke Memorial Hospital as a Patient Representative. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. William Tracy Moore of Fayetteville, N.C. He graduated from E.E. Smith Senior HIgh School in Fayetteville, N.C., and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is employed by Vistakon, Inc. as a Sales Representative.

Evans-Holland

Heather M. Evans and LaMont T. Holland are engaged and plan to be married on August 17, 1996 in Ferrum. Heather is a daughter of Mr. James B. Evans Jr. of Roanoke County. She is a graduate of William Fleming High School and is employed by Allstate Insurance. LaMont is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Larrie M. Holland of Roanoke County. He is a graduate of William Fleming High School and is employed by Cooper Industries in the Crouse-Hinds Division.

Gautier-King

Mr. and Mrs. David Gautier of Radford are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Michelle Dawn, to Gregory Scott King of Salem. Greg is the son of JoAnn and Melvin King of Salem. A June 1996 wedding is planned.

Goodman-Osborne

Danny is a graduate of D.H. Conley High School in Greenville, N.C. and is in his senior year at Campbell University where he is an NCAA Division I All-American Wrestler pursuing a B.S. in Exercise Science.

Howell-Latimer

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Howell of Vinton announce the engagement of their daughter, Cassandra Jane, to Mr. John Latimer, IV of Hagerstown, Maryland. He is the son of Susie and John Latimer, III. Cassandra is a graduate of Staunton River High School and Emory & Henry College. She is employed as a staff writer for the Wake Weekly Newspaper in Wake Forest, N.C. John is a graduating senior at Emory & Henry. The wedding is planned for October at the Emory & Henry Chapel.

Michelle Ann Leftwich and Troy Jeffrey Smith are engaged and planning to be married May 11, 1996 in Salem.

She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Leftwich, and is a graduate of Patrick Henry High School and Radford University. She is employed by Hanover Direct.

Magilligan-Davidson

Mrs. Karen S. Magilligan of Clearwater, Florida, announces the engagement of her daughter, Teresa Anne, to Seth Bane Davidson, both of Columbia, S.C. The bridegroom-elect is the son of Mr. & Mrs. James G. Davidson of Rocky Gap, Virginia. The bride-elect is also the daughter of Joseph E. Magilligan, Jr., of Palm Harbor, Florida.

Mr. and Mrs. Billy B. McPherson and Mrs. Mary McPherson of New Castle are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Donna M. McPherson, to Michael D. Jones, also of New Castle. Mizeras-Renshaw

Mr. and Mrs. Alan Mizeras are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Hunt, to Scott Michael Renshaw of Palo Alto, Calif., son of Mr. and Mrs. James Renshaw of Bakersfield, Calif.

Laura graduated from Patrick Henry High School and James Madison University. She received a Master of Library Science degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.

Scott is a 1989 graduate of Stanford University, Palo Alto and manages the database for Stanford's legal offices.

The wedding will take place at Colonial Presbyterian Church on July 6, 1996.

Murphy-Seay

Mr. and Mrs. James Murphy of Pulaski together with Mr. and Mrs. Bertrand Seay of Covington announce the engagement of their children, Pamela Marie Murphy of Roanoke to John Darren Seay of Covington. The bride-elect is a graduate of Pulaski County High School and Wytheville Community College. She is employed by Lewis-Gale Hospital as a registered nurse on the in-patient oncology unit. The groom-elect is a graduate of Covington High School and Dabney S. Lancaster Community College. He is employed by Westvaco as an electrical apprentice. A June 1, 1996 wedding is planned.

Paige-Martin

Kathleen Paige of Johnstown, Pa. announces the engagement of her daughter, Michele of McLean, Va., to Kenneth Martin of Washington, D.C., son of Bobby R. and Joyce C. Martin of Roanoke, Va. Miss Paige is also the daughter of the late August A. Paige.

Miss Paige is a 1992 graduate of Pennsylvania State University. She is employed by Westat Inc., Rockville, Md.

Mr. Martin is a graduate of William Byrd High School and a 1986 graduate of the University of Virginia. He is employed by Price-Waterhouse, L.L.P., Washington, D.C.

Pollock-Lawrence

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur B. Lawrence are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Jason Arthur Lawrence, to Christine Mary Pollock. Miss Pollock is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Pollock of Bellmore, New York. Jason and Christine are seniors at State University of New York at Purchase. A 1997 wedding is planned.

Ed and Nancy Quinn are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Monica Ann, to Richard Jeffrey Sprinkel, son of Richard Sprinkel and Sandra Redden. The wedding is planned for September 28, 1996.

Roberts-Campbell

Mr. Martin R. Roberts is proud to announce the engagement of his daughter, Carole Reams Roberts to Matthew Logan Campbell. Ms. Roberts is currently in her third year of dental school at the Medical College of Virginia. Mr. Campbell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Campbell of Tazewell, is a graduate of Emory and Henry College and West Virginia University and is employed as claims representative with Kemper Insurance in Richmond.

Lora Ann Wade and Keith Wayne McKinney are engaged and planning to be married December 7, 1996, in Williamsburg. Lora is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas L. Wade, Sr., of Roanoke. She graduated from William Byrd High School and attended Old Dominion University. She is employed by Virginia Tech Police Department. Keith is the son of Mrs. Linda J. Craft of Newport News and the late Guy E. Craft. He graduated from Denbeigh High School and attended Old Dominion University. He is employed by James City-County Police Department.
