HOLLINS COLLEGE has announced the names of the following Roanoke-area graduates who recently received bachelor's degrees.

GUILFORD COLLEGE in Greensboro, N.C., has announced the names of several Roanoke-area graduates who received bachelor's degrees.

DOUGLAS E. NAUMAN, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Nauman of Roanoke, received his master's of business adminstration degree from Wake Forest University.

TRACEY L. KRUPSKI, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Krupski of Roanoke, received a medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia of Virginia Commonwealth University. Krupski will complete her internship and residency in urology at the University of Virginia.

MILLIGAN COLLEGE in Tennessee announced the names of two Roanoke-area graduates who recently received bachelor's degrees. They are: Dana Marie Jessee, daughter of Louelle Jessee, elementary education with a language arts minor; and David Scott Bowers, son of Andrew and Judy Greer, computer science with a minor in business administration.

CAMPBELL UNIVERSITY in Buies Creek, N.C., has announced the names of Roanoke-area graduates. Michael David Jones of New Castle received a doctor of pharmacy degree; Christopher Brent Allen of Roanoke received bachelor's and master's of business administration degrees; and Chad E. Hogston of Roanoke received a law degree.

MARY ELIZABETH AYLING, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Ayling, received a bachelor's degree in psychology and a certificate of achievement in teacher education from Randolph-Macon Woman's College.

CHRISTINA MARIE RUMMAGE of Roanoke received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Ind.

EAST CAROLINA UNIVERSITY announced the names of its Roanoke Valley students who made the dean's list for the spring semester. They are: Erin Kathleen Machado, daughter of Diane Lee Machado and Edward Machado of Roanoke; Charlotte E. McDonald, daughter of Charlotte S. McDonald of Salem; and Thomas R. McDonald of Roanoke. Angela Joan Cockram, daughter of Jeanette D. Cockram and Gary A. Cockram of Roanoke, and Edward Donald Reynolds, son of Susan C. Reynolds and Edward D. Reynolds of Roanoke, were named to the school's honor roll.

CONNIE B. STEELE received an associate in applied science degree from John Tyler Community College in Chester. Steele was also recognized for high academic achievement.

HAMPDEN-SYDNEY COLLEGE announced the names of its Roanoke-area graduates. They are: William Scott Thomasson, son of Judy N. Ross of Roanoke; Randolph Jackson Light, son of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Light of Roanoke; Joshua Wood Chapman, son of Martha W. Chapman of Roanoke; William Stewart deWindt, son of Mr. and Mrs. William G. deWindt of Vinton; and Clay Buchanan Persinger, son of Andrea J. Becker and Frank Persinger, both of Roanoke.

DAVID WAYNE FLEENOR, son of Hubert L. Fleenor Jr. and Dorothy F. Fleenor of Roanoke, recently received a bachelor of arts degree in ministerial studies from Messenger College in Joplin, Mo.

EMORY UNIVERSITY in Atlanta announced the names of two Roanoke-area students who recently received master's degrees. They are: Samuel L. Farthing, son of Dr. and Mrs. W. H. Farthing of Roanoke, business administration; and Catherine A. Fosl of Hollins, arts.

ASHLEY B. MATTHEWS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Matthews Jr. of Roanoke, has been inducted into Alpha Epsilon Delta premedical honor society. Matthews recently graduated from Washington and Lee University.

APRIL CHARLES, daughter of Ken Charles of Roanoke, received a bachelor of science degree in psychology from Ohio Valley College in Parkersburg, W.Va.

TRACY R. DOUPNIK, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Doupnik of Roanoke, was inducted into the Carson-Newman College chapters of Alpha Lambda Delta and Phi Eta Sigma freshman honor societies. Doupnik is a biology major.

LEWIS WILLIS HOPKINS, son of Mrs. Donald W. Spicer of Roanoke, received a degree in transportation systems management from George Mason University.

MICHAEL WILEY, son of Linda Wiley of Roanoke, received a degree in communication arts from Catawba College.

CARRIE ANDERSON and BRIAN WOODSON of Roanoke received bachelor's degrees in mass communications from East Tennessee State University.

JOHN R. CUNDIFF completed the basic course in auctioneering offered by the Mendenhall School of Auctioneering in High Point, N.C.

STEVEN T. WOODDELL of Roanoke received a bachelor's degree in music and the Henry Fusner Prize from The Cleveland Institute of Music.

TRIMBLE BAILEY, daughter of Douglas and Denise Bailey of Roanoke, has been chosen to participate in the Air Force Academy Soaring Program. SOAR is a 15-day program which gives cadets the opportunity to experience flight in gliders. Bailey is a cadet at the Virginia Women's Institute for Leadership at Mary Baldwin College.

CHAD FLEETWOOD, son of Thelma D. Pizzulo of Roanoke, has been named Radford University's outstanding economics graduate in the College of Business and Economics.

ELIZABETH MARIE SICORA, daughter of Charles and Martha Sicora of Roanoke, has been named to the dean's list at Meredith College in Raleigh, N.C.
