COMMUNITY COLLEGE TO STAGE SIMON PLAY

Wytheville Community College will offer a stage production of Neil Simon's "The Star-Spangled Girl" starting at 8 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday in the Grayson Hall Commons.

Admission on the first two nights is $5 ($3.50 for senior citizens and children up to age 12) and $13 ($11.50 for senior citizens and children to age 12) on Saturday that includes a catered dinner buffet. Dinner theater tickets must be reserved by Thursday by calling 223-4795. They can be reserved or bought at the door for the other two nights.

Angie Johnson plays the title role, an Olympic hopeful who moves next door to a pair of underground journalists (Kevin Lightle and Noel Todd Necessary), one of whom falls for her with predictable chaotic results.
