C-SPAN TO AIR WARNERS' DEBATE

Virginians who want to watch some of their state politics in action can be both good citizens and couch potatoes today.

Starting at 10 a.m., C-SPAN 1 will broadcast live coverage of the Reform Party's state convention in Charlottesville, where third-party presidential aspirants Ross Perot and former Colorado Gov. Richard Lamm will make their first campaign appearance together.

C-SPAN also will rebroadcast the Reform Party event throughout the day.

Also at 10 a.m., C-SPAN 2 will have live coverage of the first debate between Senate candidates John Warner and Mark Warner. It takes place before the Virginia Bar Association at the Homestead in Hot Springs.
