LIBRARY DEDICATION IS SET FOR SUNDAY

After a 1993 bond referendum and nearly a year and a half of construction, the renovated and expanded Blacksburg Area Branch Library will be dedicated in a ceremony beginning at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Sharyn McCrumb, an acclaimed novelist who lives in Shawsville, is the keynote speaker.

Following McCrumb's remarks, there will be tours of the library and a reception. The library is at 300 Miller St. and backs up to Draper Road in downtown Blacksburg.
