Reed birth
Spencer Bryan Reed was born October 21, 1996 at 8:43 p.m. in Community Hospital. He weighed 8 lbs. 10 3/4 ozs. and was 21 1/2 inches long. His proud parents are Bryan K. and Mary G. Reed. Spencer's big sister, Alexandra Gayle Reed, is 2 1/2 years old. Grandparents are Margaret N. Salyers, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Elias and Walter K. Reed Jr. Great-grandparents are Mary W. Neely, Odette Blythe, Helen C. Reed and Pat E. Smith. Great-great-grandmother is Dorothy Reed. We thank God for another great treasure to our home.
Spangler birth
Leigha Marie Spangler was born to Alicia M. Brown and Robert Spangler on October 14, 1996 at 11:25 p.m. in Salem, Virginia. She weighed 7 lbs. 5 oz. and was 19 inches long. Her grandparents are Dan and Chris Brown and Debbie and Charlie Lowery. The attending physician at Lewis-Gale Hospital was Laura Moylan.

of a tiny baby girl.
Johnny and Linda Thompson proudly and joyfully announce the birth of their beautiful baby daughter, Callie Amanda Thompson. Callie was born on November 4, 1996 at 8:56 a.m. in Lewis-Gale Medical Center. She weighed 8 lbs. 11 ozs., and was 21 inches long. Callie has two proud older brothers, Andrew Lane, 7, and Corey Matthew, 18 months. Her grandparents are George and Gerri Watts, and Roosevelt and Velma Thompson, all of Salem. She also has a great-grandfather, Jessie Watson of Salem. Our sincere thanks to Dr. George Maxymiv for his excellent prenatal care and Dr. Laura Moylan for delivering our little girl safely into this world. And most of all, we thank God for blessing us with this most precious gift, our daughter.
