BOTTEGHI, Marion Ann, 81, of Salem, passed away Friday, December 13, 1996. A native of Albany, N. Y. and devoted member of Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Botteghi. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Dominic and Mickey Bel Torto; nephews and niece, Adam Bel Torto, Joseph Robelatto, Richard Robelatto and Patricia Robelatto Peters. A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 16, 1996 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church. urial will be at St. Agnes Cemetery, in Mends, N. Y. Arrangements by John M. CLARK, Clara T., 81, of Garden City, S. C., died Saturday, December 14, 1996. Funeral Tuesday, December 17, 1996, 11 a.m., at Lomax Funeral Home Chapel, Buena Vista.

COCKRAM, Lillian Bowman, 78, of Floyd, stepped into her Heavenly home Saturday, December 14, 1996 after a lingering illness with cancer, at the Lewis-Gale Hospital. She was the daughter of Rev. Enoch and Mattie Naff Bowman of Franklin County. Her devoted husband and constant companion of 54 years, Don R. Cockram and their daughter, Brenda, and son-in-law, Lennie Merida of Panama City Beach, Florida, are her immediate family survivors. She also leaves a sister, Lois B. Halterman of Bridgewater Home, Bridgewater and brother, Emory and wife, Helen Bowman, and brother, Harry Bowman, all of Roanoke; also a number of nieces and nephews. Lillian was a graduate of Radford College and completed her Masters Degree at V.P.I. Her teaching career included schools in Albemarle, Franklin and Floyd Counties. She taught home economics at Floyd County High School for many years and retired in 1980. She was an active member of the Floyd County Retired Teachers Association and a dedicated member of the Topeco Church of the Brethren. Her deep faith made her a willing worker in her church. She shared interests in wild flowers, birds, and small animals with her husband and friends. She enjoyed looking for antiques and beautiful glass and china. She left a legacy of good will, compassion, helpfulness and loyalty. She was a lovely lady who shared her love and generosity with others. Funeral services will be Monday, December 16, 1996, at 1 p.m. at Topeco Church, with the Rev. William Stovall and the Rev. Ralph Spradling officiating. Her final resting pl ace will be in Mountain View Memorial Park, near Boones Mill, at approximately 3 p.m. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, December 15, 1996, at Wood Funeral Home. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the Health Care Professionals who cared for her during her illness. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. COPENHAVER, Valeria Painter, (``Bea''), 79, of Wytheville, died Friday, December 13, 1996 in the Birdmont Health Care Center. She is survived by one son, Warren Copenhaver, Fayetteville, N. C.; two sisters, Ruth Painter Humphreys, Wytheville, Doris Painter Grubb, Rural Retreat; three grandsons, William L. W. Copenhaver, Clarksville, Tenn., Robert M. Copenhaver, Fayetteville, N. C., Stewart M. Copenhaver, Norfolk. A graveside memorial service will be Tuesday 3 p.m. in Mountain View Cemetery, Rural Retreat, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Charles Burnett. GRAY-HYLTON, Antwan Holden, 17, of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, December 11,1996. He was preceded in death by his mother Nancy M. Hylton, father Jack W. Hylton. Survivors include two grandfathers Jack H. Hylton, William E. Casey, grandmother Ruby P. Gray, sister, Melissa A. Hylton, brother Antonio Hash, a beloved friend Sherrie Welcher, two nieces, Tanzamia Hylton and Destiny Graves, nephew, Direece Hylton all of Roanoke. A host of relatives an d friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 18, 1996 at 2 p.m. The Rev. Harold G. Preston is officiating. HALSEY, Winnie Graham, 104, passed away Friday, December 13, 1996 at her residence in Mouth of Wilson, Va. She was the widow of Isaac Lester Halsey, a member of Young's Chapel Baptist Church and past member of New River Pioneer Chapter, D.A.R. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Lester and Ann Halsey, Mouth of Wilson; two daughters, Carolyn Osborne, Independence, Dorothy DiSario, Arlington; daughter-in-law, Gwendolyn Halsey, Jacksonville, N.C.; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 3:30 p.m. in Young's Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Douglas C. Turnmire and the Rev. Hal Eaton officiating. Interment in Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Young's Chapel Cemetery Trust Fund, C/O Rhonda Bowen, Treas., Mouth of Wilson, Va. 24363.
