The Rev. Jerry Falwell wants no part of ``Ellen's'' coming out party.

Falwell urged General Motors, Chrysler and Johnson & Johnson to withdraw their sponsorship of the episode of the ABC sitcom in which the lead character announces her homosexuality.

Falwell also urged hundreds of people attending a conservative conference in Albany, N.Y., to write letters to put pressure on the companies to withdraw their support for the comedy starring Ellen DeGeneres, whose character comes out of the closet in an hour-long special next month.

``It's important for us to do our part during the upcoming `Ellen' broadcast, where the character of Ellen Morgan, played by Ellen DeGeneres - some have said `DeGenerate' - announces her lesbianism,'' Falwell told the conference of New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedoms on Tuesday.
