MAN HELD IN PAWN-SHOP SHOOTING

Police arrested one suspect in the Saturday shooting of a pawn shop clerk during a robbery. Howard Luttrell Jr., 21, of Woodbridge was arrested late Saturday and charged with robbery, malicious wounding and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

The 41-year-old clerk was grazed in the head and hit twice in the shoulder by the gunfire before grabbing a gun and firing several shots, striking one of the robbers in the hand, police said. He was in critical but stable condition at Potomac Hospital, a spokeswoman said. Police said his identity was being withheld for his safety.
