EDWARD J. HARMON

{LEAD} Edward J. Harmon, 50, retired Army chief warrant officer, died June 19, 1994, in the VA Hosptial of Fayetteville.

Mr. ``Butch'' Harmon was born in Newport News on January 1, 1944. He was a graduate of Princess Anne High School in Virginia Beach. He was in the Army for 19 1/2 years.

{REST} Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Laura Harrell Harmon; two daughters, Wendi Harmon of Raleigh and Amy Harmon of Fayetteville; two sons, Daniel and Micheal Harmon, both of Fayetteville; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Harmon of Virginia Beach; one brother, Steve Harmon of Florida; and two sisters, Aileen Capps of Norfolk, and Carol Billiot of Groves, Texas.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by the Rev. Rob Pittman. Burial with military honors will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park. Friends may join the family at the funeral home for visitation today from 7 to 9 p.m. and other times the family will be at 604 Kenneth Road, Virginia Beach. Memorial donations may be made to Holland Road Baptist Church, 4881 Euclid Road, Virginia Beach.
