FREDERICK SPILLANE

{LEAD} Frederick ``Mickey'' Spillane, 63, a retired chief petty officer, of the 1800 block of Norview Drive, died June 20, 1994.

He was a native of Providence, R.I., and was Catholic. He had also retired from Civil Service as a refrigeration mechanic. He was a Navy veteran of Vietnam.

{REST} He is survived by his wife, Alice Spillane; one son, William Joseph Bierman of Norfolk; two stepchildren, James Bierman and Denise Everett, both of Norfolk; and three grandchildren, Michelle Bierman, William F. Bierman and Alayna Everett, all of Norfolk.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Holloman-Brown Funeral Chapel, Tidewater Drive. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. Military honors will be accorded at the graveside. The family will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
