WHERE'S THE JUSTICE?

{LEAD} What is wrong with our judicial system? Your June 8 edition reported that David Horsley was sentenced to the maximum 40 years for raping and killing 2-year-old Shacora Daniels.

On the same page was news that Darrell H. Norton was indicted on one count of burglary while armed with a deadly weapon, which carries a maximum sentence of life in prison, and one count of grand larceny (20 years maximum). David Horsley should be executed, or at the very least serve life in prison with no chance of parole.

{REST} Re-evaluation of our lopsided judicial system is long past due.
