WHEN TELLING A STORY, TELL IT ALL

{LEAD} I thank your newspaper for the report done on me and my Mustangs, but I wish you had used the limited type space on other aspects of the story.

1. When I refused to let the tow- truck drivers into my back yard, they called the police. Within five minutes, three police officers - one of them a corporal - were in my back yard. The corporal told me that if I interfered, I would be arrested.

{REST} 2. The story referred to my garage as being ``hastily erected.'' The fact is, my garage was at the half-way point. I have a city of Norfolk building permit. The garage was being built to city code. It didn't matter: My cars were on the list, and they had to go.

3. After spending all the money necessary to get only two of the cars out ($541 so far and still climbing), I still can't put them in my back yard. I will be charged with a Class 2 misdemeanor.

There is even more to this story. I wish I could find a news outlet interested in reporting the whole story.
