FANNIE C. JOYNER

{LEAD} Fannie Cones Joyner, 87, of the 400 block of W. Washington St., a homemaker, died June 25, 1994, in Portsmouth.

Mrs. Joyner, a native of Suffolk, was the daughter of John Ernest and Emmaline Elizabeth Joyner Cones and the widow of Constantine S. Joyner. She was a member of Benn's Methodist Church, Smithfield.

{REST} Survivors include two daughters, Luverta J. Gumkowski of Gracey, Ky., and June J. Cotsimopoulos of Portsmouth; two sons, John S. Joyner of Suffolk and Eldridge M. Joyner of Bowling Green, Ky.; a sister, Allie Cox Bradshaw of Suffolk; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. Charles W. Thompson. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. today in the funeral home.
