Russell McPherson of the 100 block of Palm Beach Place, died July 4, 1994, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.
Mr. McPherson was born in Princess Anne County. He was a member of Big Piney Grove Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, the Male Chorus and Masonic Lodge Ruth (NU)92 Prince Hall.
Survivors include his wife, Aggie M. McPherson; one daughter, Bernice D. Reid of Laurel, Md.; three sons, Johnnie Dreuitt, Simon R. McPherson and Linwood J. McPherson, all of Virginia Beach; his mother, Lelia McPherson Nash of Norfolk; one sister, Ella Mae Pellerin of Norfolk; 17 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday in Big Piney Grove Baptist Church, Holland Road, by the Rev. Charles A. Vinson. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Community Funeral Home, Virginia Beach Chapel, is handling arrangements.
