DOROTHY CATO BREWER

Dorothy Cato Brewer, 66, died Tuesday, July 12, 1994.

Mrs. Brewer, a native of Portsmouth, was a resident of Poquoson for 18 years. She was a Roman Catholic and a member of Tidewater Appalachian Trail Club, G.E.O.F.L.B.S., and The Norville Arthur Doortsche Fine Arts Consortium.

Survivors include her husband, David G. Brewer; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael D. and Terik Brewer of Hampton and Thomas C. and Michelle E. Brewer of Sacramento, Calif.; her mother, Dorothy C. Cato of Portsmouth; a brother, Arthur R. ``Dick'' Cato of Portsmouth; two sisters, Joan C. Remy of Portsmouth and Mary Catherine ``Kitty'' Tierno of Salt Lake City, Utah; three grandchildren, Victoria L. Tremblay of Newport, N.H., C. David Brewer of Hampton and Thomas C. Brewer II of Sacramento; a great-grandchild, Joseph D. Tremblay of Newport, N.H.; and an aunt, Virginia C. Mealey of St. Louis, Mo.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Claytor Rollins Funeral Home, Poquoson, by Father James Ditty. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the residence. Memorial contributions may be made to Appalachian Trail Conference, P.O. Box 807, Harpers Ferry, W.Va. 25425.
