Waverly ``Sonny'' Jordan Jr. of the 5000 block of Head of River Road, died July 8, 1994, in Newark Hospital.
Mr. Jordan was born in Virginia Beach and was a Baptist.
Survivors include a son, Taurus Jordan of Boston; his father, Waverly Jordan of Virginia Beach; and two sisters, Irish Gail Kittrell of Virginia Beach and Bessie T. Jordan of Chesapeake.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in New Oak Grove Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. O.L. Cromwell II. Burial will be in Jones Memorial Park. The family will be at 5108 Rugby Road, Virginia Beach. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
