Shane Everett Fuleihan, 17, of Florence and formerly of Virginia, died July 11, 1994, in a Florence hospital.
He was born in Norfolk, a son of Jan Harris Phillip and David Wright Fuleihan. He was a 10th grade student at West Florence High School and was a member of Five Points Baptist Church in Florence.
Surviving are his father and stepmother, David W. and Donna Sue Campbell Fuleihan of Virginia Beach; his mother and stepfather, Jan H. and Donald Phillip of Florence; one brother, Mark Edward Fuleihan of Florence; maternal grandmother, Lillian Lancaster of Unionville, Va.; stepbrothers, Eric Withrow and Matthew Withrow, both of Virginia Beach, Keith J. Phillip of Columbia, S.C. and Bruce D. Phillip of Lexington, S.C.; and stepsisters, Donna Beth Pugh of Midlothian, Va., and Cheri Ann Cooke of Newport News, Va.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 15, in Greenbrier Christian Fellowship Church in Chesapeake, Va., conducted by the Rev. Steve Morgan and the Rev. Tommy Taylor. The family will receive friends immediately following the services at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. David Fuleihan, 888 Le Cove Drive, Virginia Beach. Memorials may be made to the Five Points Baptist Church Youth Van Fund, 2317 Hoffmeyer Road, Florence, S.C. 29501.
