RUTH H. WILL

Ruth Hobart Will, 78, a retired secretary, died July 23, 1994, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Will was born in Webster Groves, Mo. She had retired from Norfolk Shipbuilding and Drydock Corp. after 25 years. She was the widow of Donald P. Will Sr. and was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 204 and Ladies Auxiliary of the B.P.O.E. 38.

Survivors include two daughters, Caren W. Patton of Virginia Beach and Nancy W. Crow of Culpeper, Va.; a son, Donald P. Will Jr. of Fort Worth, Texas; a sister, Louise Haliner of Hiawassee, Ga.; five grandchildren, Catherine C. Caldwell of Charlottesville, Va., Rebecca M. Crow of Culpeper, Va., Thomas L. Crow of Fredericksburg, Va., Sherri P. Cordon of Norfolk and F. Jackson Patton IV of Virginia Beach; and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church by the Rev. Charles K. Blalock. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church.
