Suburban Grading & Utilities Inc. in Norfolk received a $964,215 contract from the city of Virginia Beach for the Pembroke regional stormwater management facility in Virginia Beach.

Hathaway Duke Construction Co. in Virginia Beach received a $5.3 million contract from the Surry County School Board to build Luther Porter Jackson Middle School.
