The Virginia Beach City Council will consider new street designs
and changes to the city's Comprehensive Plan on Tuesday, Sept. 13. A
wrong date was given in a story Tuesday about the proposed downtown
plan.
In some editions of Tuesday's newspaper, the beginning and end of
a Metro brief and other text was missing from the bottom of page B3
because of a press problem. The item, ``Man held in I-64 shooting,''
began: ``A man was charged after a woman and her ex-husband were
shot at on Interstate 64 about 9:15 p.m. Sunday, state police
said.'' The woman and her ex-husband were not identified by police.
A clarinet is a woodwind instrument, not a member of the brass
family, as stated in a music puzzle on Sunday's For the Kids page.
