Raymond L. Hurst, 52, died Aug. 11, 1994, in his home.
He was born in Norfolk and worked in street construction.
Survivors include his mother, Kathleen Taylor of North Carolina; a sister, Helen Bock of West Warrick, R.I.; a half-sister, Sandra Haskins of North Carolina; two brothers, Jimmy Hurst of Birmingham, Ala., and Tommy Hurst of Homestead, Fla.; and two half-brothers, Paul Taylor and Marshall Taylor, both of North Carolina.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. today in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by Dr. Paul Lawson.
