Edna Earl Thomas Sills, age 73, of 22122 Reynolds Dr., died Friday, Aug. 19, in a Newport News Hospital.
Mrs. Sills, a native of Oak City, N.C., was a homemaker and member of Benn's United Methodist Church, Smithfield.
Survivors include two daughters: Joyce Ann Sills Mullinax of Charles City, Va., and Patricia Carol Sills Bemis of Burk, Va.; two sons: Linwood Earl Sills of Corapeake, N.C., and David Thomas Sills of Poquoson, Va.; a brother, Robert Edward Hux of Corapeake, N.C.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, Aug. 23, at 11 a.m. at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, Smithfield, with the Rev. Jay Ashby, officiating.
Burial will follow in St. Lukes Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Monday, Aug. 22, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Colonial Funeral Home and suggests that memorial contributions may be made to The Isle of Wight Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 97, Smithfield, Va. 23431.
