JOHN W. STORY JR.

John W. Story Jr., 76, of the 800 block of Wilson Road, a retired heavy duty equipment operator, died Aug. 25, 1994, in his residence.

Mr. Story was born in Elizabeth City, son of the late Feldonia C. Story and John W. Story Sr. He was retired from the Public Works Department at NAS after 32 years. He was a former member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church; past master of Raphael Masonic Lodge (NU)162; and was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Eula B. Story; two daughters, Joyce Story Kelly and Beverly J. Story, both of Norfolk; three sons, Anthony W. Story of Durham, N.C., Jerome E. Story and James E. Story, both of Norfolk; two sisters, Nancy Hicks and Ora Nixon, both of Brooklyn, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Hale Funeral Home by the Rev. Joseph Lassiter. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family will assemble at 814 Wilson Road.
