THOMAS M. BING

Thomas Muriel Bing, 77, of the first block of Woodland St., a retired machinist, died Sept. 17, 1994, in Hampton.

Mr. Bing was born in Portsmouth. He had retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard and was the widower of Josephine Snellings Bing. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII.

Survivors include a daughter, Joanette Graebener of Newport News; a son, Charles S. Bing of Portsmouth; a sister, Helen Bing Barnes of Portsmouth; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; a stepdaughter, Joanna Daniels of Newport News; and a stepson, Edwin B. ``Sonny'' Wellons of Portsmouth.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, by the Rev. John E. Dougher. Burial with military honors will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cradock United Methodist Church.
